Q. I am restoring an old Beckwith organ. Two decals on the organ read, "Universal Exposition, Jamestown Tercential [sic] Exposition, MCMVII" and "Commemorating the First Permanent Settlement of English Speaking People in North America—Awarded to Belwith [sic] Organ Company." Do you have any information on this organ?
A. Though we cannot positively identify your organ, we did find reference to the Jamestown Exposition on page 333 of the fall 1908 Chicago edition catalog under the heading "Beckwith Organs."
