Q. I have an old cuckoo clock with an unusual design on it. It is made of wood and has carvings of leaves and a deer head on it. The person I bought it from said that it came from Sears and that it was likely bought before 1930 or so. Can you help me find more information on this?
A. We found an item fitting your description in the fall 1925 Chicago edition catalog, on page 649. It sold at that time for $12.98 and was decorated with oak leaves and a deer head.
