Q. I have an all-chrome Craftsman 100 sabre saw, model no. 315.27981. Can you please tell me how old it is?

A. We found a catalog advertisement for the saw on page 1429 of the fall 1956 Chicago edition catalog. This saw was a heavy-duty model and was introduced in 1956.
