Q. I have a table saw that is approximately 40 years old. The model number is 103.24242. Can you tell me exactly how old it is and what it originally cost?
A. We searched the Sears general catalogs from the 1950s for a possible match to the saw you describe, and we may have found a match on page 1433 of the fall 1956 Chicago edition catalog. The (bench) saw featured in the upper right image has a catalog number similar to your model number, 9 G 02424L.
